  Typical country pub with a bistro run by a general cook not a chef. Quite edible and good value meals but far from fine dining. Good parma and the beer is cold, what more do you really want in the middle of nothing.

  We needed last minute accomadation due to the weather and they had a room for us the queen one. We rock up and are greeted before we even open the door. The process for check in was fast and we where in our room in seconds. We where offered to come down and have a drink on the house. Staff friendly. Place was clean. Room was beautiful. They even had pineapple juice in the fridge (for hangovers?) I thought that was genious . The pub noise couldn't be heard in the room. Shower was lovely pressure. I'd give them more stars if i could 10/5 from me

  Great rooms clean, new and well equipped. Old character pub with all newly refurbished rooms. Great meals and a great atmosphere!
